The Hostería 'El Paraíso de las Orquídeas' - The Monkey Island, is a tourist complex located in the canton of Archidona, Napo province, near Tena, just three and a half hours from Quito.

Our facilities combine peace, comfort, and excellent service with the environment, ecological conservation, and the biodiversity of the Amazon tropical rainforest.

Our History

Since 1998, the Hostería has opened its doors to national and international tourists, offering accommodation services in spacious and comfortable cabins and rooms. Its restaurant, with a capacity for 100 people, combines the pleasant family moment with the magnificent landscape of our Amazon.

In terms of gastronomy, for your delight, you can choose from a wide variety of national and international cuisine or typical dishes from the east, such as palm heart salad and the exquisite maito.

Our guests can enjoy the relaxing climate of the region with entertaining walks along various ecological trails, take a refreshing dip in the unparalleled pool or the crystal-clear waters of the Misahualli River located just a few meters from our facilities, and at the same time enjoy delicious snacks and drinks.
